Nigel has lived & worked in the Alps for the last 10 years & has been following his passion for wilderness trekking around the globe to places such as Patagonia, The Himalayas, China, & Peru to name but a few.
3 years ago he formed Chamonix Hiking Club & has led many club treks in the French & Swiss alps. Recently he’s been based in the Italian Alps of Val d’Aosta & has discovered the rich opportunities to explore the wilder places this expansive area has to offer.
Nigel’s approach to his alpine adventures is to get off the beaten track as much as possible, to seek out & experience genuine local culture so as to really understand as much as possible about the area in which you find yourself. Add to these ingredients a healthy dose of FUN & the end result will be as memorable as it is enjoyable!
This love of the mountains led him to complete the 3 year Mountain Leader Training course & qualify as an International Mountain Leader in February 2015.
